Too School for Cool, Spring 3004 semester: Part One

Laurel Hills Secondary School: Spring 3004 semester
last update/part two/next update

Principal/Superintendent: Illiana Greer; Teachers: Deidre Faithbucks, Nigel Hoyt
Students: Sarai Richward (12); Marianne Richward, Denise Weber, Janet Weber (all 13); Jeffrey Michaels (14); Artemis Greene, Devon Royal (15); Autumn Greer, Summer Greer, Winter Greer, Lloyd Wlyde (16)

SPAT test preparation was well underway at the high school. However, Ms. Faithbucks was having difficulty getting the students to focus.

Apparently, spring fever had taken over. Even her most studious pupil was restless.

Janet was one disrespectful remark from detention herself.

Mr. Hoyt was faring better in his class. Since many of them were graduating sooner, they took the test prep more seriously.

Autumn did make a point to compliment Mr. Hoyt, but he wasn’t easily impressed. Nice try.

Summer still couldn’t help herself when she sneaked a peek at her crush, even with the teacher at her desk.

Fine arts began new session in a later period, and Janet was unhappy that Summer was in the same class as Marianne.

Before more drama could ensue, Principal Greer entered the classroom. Marianne and Janet quickly claimed the easels next to Autumn, to ensure her sister would not be next to them.

Which suited Summer just fine.

As usual, Marianne excels in her artwork.

The male students ended up opting for athletic studies during the same period.

Except for Winter. He opted for study hall in the library.

Along with Denise and Sarai.

After lunch, Marianne and Janet had a free period, which they spent during their favorite spot on the lawn.

Janet, as usual, began her daily list of those who are “so lame”.

Marianne heartily agrees, as she is still smarting from the heavy coursework lately.

They spent the remainder of the period gabbing away, talking about school, music, and boys.

They were so into their conversation that it took a while before they heard, “Hey Marianne, can I talk to you for a minute?”

To be continued… Read part two here.

  1. oooh I wonder what is going to be said in part two! He’s such a cutie too! I was admiring him along with Summer. Marianne and Janet are little pot stirrers! Hope all the kids did okay with their tests, not concentrating on that test really can effect the future.
