School health pack. You can use these not only in your schools but also any health lots as well.

Simlish teacher helper pack: for all of those Simlish teachers out there.

Teen pack: you can put these up in your classrooms, in addition to home, and maybe at the local teen hangout.

Finally, the UNI biology pack [click the third pic to download]: you can use these in school and college classroom, or hospitals. I so need these for the medicine career lot I want to do, which will also double as URock’s medical school.

Trent and Quinn‘s new house at 21 Rosewood Drive is on a 2×3 lot, and is a redecorated version of this house.

The tour begins in the twin’s room. I have rolled a color for the twins, as they are toddlers and their personality isn’t quite defined yet. I’ll assign their colors per my guidelines once they’ve reached childhood. Chase‘s is red and Austin rolled white, which looked utterly ridiculous in this room, so I changed the bedding to green. But he still rocks white in his clothing though.

Another shot shows Chase, with Quinn’s pregnant self fantasizing about food.

On the other side of the second floor is the master bedroom. Trent’s color is brown while Quinn’s is orange, so it worked out nicely. As I put up this shot I realized that I didn’t add any wall hanging, which is a very bad habit of mine. Oh well.

Going downstairs brings us to the entry foyer. It’s not quite moved it, as all I’ve done is added a phone and the ACR controller on the side table and threw the SimBlender in a corner. So I still need to add the knickknacks and plants to the table and cabinet.

The living room, which took a large amount of time, considering how bare it looks. Well, at least I didn’t forget the wall hangings.

Dining room. I think I really lucked out with finding those recolors of the BV pictures.

Here’s the kitchen which is pretty spacious, but it seems I don’t have enough space to have an island counter.  I tried to break up all the neutral colors with the orange, so I think it works.

A shot of the backyard through the backdoor. I almost put the jungle gym in the back, but honestly the twins are only 2 years old. But it is a great backyard space though.

• This home is much more bigger than their last home. I just hope they don’t have any more kids, as the spare bedroom will be for the new addition and I really don’t want to move them again.

It was another day at Laurel Hills and the countdown to the summer vacation.

Sisters Autumn and Summer are making plans for after school, hoping to begin the searching process for a new boyfriend for Autumn.

Artemis is one of the few actually doing the Mr. Hoyt’s assignment.

Lloyd and Winter are finished but Lloyd decides to go scam a bathroom break from Mr. Hoyt, so he can roam the hallways for the duration of the period.

Meanwhile in Simlish class, Marianne is bored out of her mind and can’t wait to do a little soccer drills. But Janet reminds her of the rain forecast of the day. Hopefully, the weather will let up.

Thankfully, it doesn’t rain and Marianne is able to do some soccer drills, which is the only thing she can do since she is still on academic probation. Incidentally, Lloyd and Devon are outside shooting hoops at the same time.

Marianne tries her best to look cute, all the while ignoring him. Lloyd heeded Marianne’s parents’ instruction to not date her and he promptly ended things, much to Marianne’s dismay.

Marianne gave up trying to get Lloyd’s attention after a while and decided to chill on the lawn with Janet.

They mainly talked about Marianne’s grounding, and how boring it was not to hang out anymore.

Luckily, Marianne’s grades were improving, but she doubted that her parents would allow her to start back dating Lloyd again, as if he still wanted her anyway.

In other teenage drama, Artemis is not a big friend of Winter’s sister, Autumn.

Winter is disappointed that his girlfriend despises his sister, but he does tell her to get over it, as Autumn is his sister after all.

Artemis did not like his suggestion at all.

Summer engaging in an impromptu game of hacky-sack has earned her the scorn of Janet’s viciousness, again.

• So Marianne’s grades are improving, only slightly, but there’s no way her parents would let her start dating again. Sorry Marianne, you blew it.
• Artemis was doing the complain interaction to Winter (as this school is a community lot owned by his mother, Principal Greer) about Autumn. I don’t know why she was so upset at Autumn, but man, was she pissed that Winter just shrugged about it. Come on Artemis, do you honestly expect him to dump his own sister? I thought it was so hilarious.
• Janet does not like Summer at all. Summer does heart-fart over Lloyd, so maybe that’s why. Janet and Marianne are always gossiping about her. Summer needs to watch out, because if she does swoop in and hooks up with Lloyd, I have a feeling things will get really nasty.

Giovanni begins the day with asking Mrs. Faulkner if they could have ice cream sundaes for lunch. Nice try, Giovanni.

Alicia still tends to play by herself at times, but her teacher does hope she’ll grow out of it.

Mrs. Faulkner brings her attention to the rest of the class, with Nate and Becca finishing their art projects.

Nichole finds that she doesn’t care for schoolwork as much as she did before, when she finds out how much harder the work is as she gets older.

Santiago tends to agree.

In a rare break in the class, Sarai converses with Sergio about the Colonel SimNation program last night.

It is finally lunchtime, where burgers are on the menu today.

The boys entertain themselves with Santiago’s antics, while Sergio keeps a watch out for the teacher.

Meanwhile, Sarai tries to figure out how she ended up sitting with a teacher. She SO cannot wait until she goes to high school next year.

The wait is over for the best subject of the day: recess!

It seems Mrs. Faulkner had nothing to worry about, as Alicia is becoming friendly with Becca.

It is Mrs. Faulkner’s turn to lead the gym class today.

While the students are busy working off that youthful energy, she decides to do Tai Chi because of her delicate condition.

In a weird change of events, some students are actually disappointed when school ends for the day.

But not for everybody, as evident with Nichole’s dare to Alicia to race her to the school bus.

I was talking with the boys one evening about school, when Victoria decided to change the subject.

I had mentioned to her earlier in the week that I was thinking about making a donation for a tax break, but she decided to bring it up again during dinnertime.

Victoria has now taken upon herself to make this a family project. Ever since she sold her candy store last year, she’s becoming bored again.

It seems she’s now into this charity deal, and is getting all of us to participate, like suggesting we work at a soup kitchen for the homeless. I reminded her that Laurel Crossing doesn’t have a soup kitchen. That just made her more determined to get one established.

I had hoped that she would let up, but unfortunately she persisted. The following Saturday at breakfast, she promptly informed us of our duties.

I’m sure this was definitely not what the boys and I imagined we would be doing on a Saturday.

The boys spent the next hour gathering anything that they could donate.

Sergio and Santiago did end up gathering a good amount of clothing and toys to donate.

Since Victoria had already cleared out our closets, I went ahead and did exactly what I had planned to do in the first place: make a monetary donation.

After making a $12,000 donation to the city’s scholarship fund, Victoria vowed that she would continue her charitable activities. I agreed, as long as the boys and I weren’t dragged into it.

Quinn gave me wonderful news one morning: we were pregnant! It wasn’t planned, but we’re thrilled nonetheless.

Austin and Chase still keeps us on our toes, but they’re old enough to not need so much attention as before.

Unfortunately, with the four of us plus all of the twins’ things plus a new baby, we need more space. It’s time to look for a bigger house.

We’re in a better place financially now that I own and run my own newspaper, and with Quinn being a teacher, we’re getting a great deal on a mortgage rate. But the whole process can be daunting at times, especially since we cannot move until we sell this house.

Luckily,  a fellow teacher of Quinn’s and his fiancee were in the market of buying a house. We were able to give them a private showing of the house, before giving an open house.

We discussed all of the important things, and Nigel and Allison were glad that the home needed no repairs and was move-in ready.

We let them tour the house on their home and afterwards we answered all of their questions.

I didn’t want to crowd them, so I gave them more time to make their decision.

Giving them their space also gave me the opportunity to calm Quinn’s nerves. It was a good house, in a good location.

As I expected, the Hoyts seemed to believe so too.

They gave us a great offer, which we accepted. Now we can find our dream house!

House no. 3 that we viewed turned out to be our dream house. It was twice the living space as our house.

The best part was the huge backyard. It had plenty of space for the kids to play in, and I definitely foresee many cookouts.

We immediately let our realtor know we were ready to place an offer.

Cora informed us that because it was a new construction, we could have a quick closing. Even more perfect.

• So Trent and Quinn are expecting; I’m hoping for a little girl. They aren’t allowed birth control, but I’m surprised they’re just now getting pregnant. They woohoo like rabbits. At least this time, they’re are no twins. Baby Faulkner is due Winter 3004.
• With the new baby coming they definitely had to move. Their house was only a two bedroom. Their new house is a much larger three bedroom with an amazing backyard. In game, they’re already moved it and I’m currently decorating. I plan to do a lot tour with it, as I’m really liking the decor I’m doing. Quinn’s and Trent’s favorite colors are orange and brown, respectively, so I’m pleased with how it’s turning out.

As the summer approaches, I can’t believe that my little Sarai will become a teen. It had just been just the two of us for a long time (along with my mother helping out), before Jeff came along and changed our lives for the better. She’s so bright and mature for her age, she’s taking to being a big sister really well, helping Courtney earn her skills.

Because my mother babysat Sarai for years, I was a little bit apprehensive letting a nanny take care of Courtney.

I’m afraid that Courtney is not being taking care of properly, despite evidence otherwise.

Jeff assured me everything was fine. It’s not like Courtney was being neglected. I guess I am being a little silly.

On one of my very rare days off, I got a surprise visit from my stepsister-in-law, Victoria. I hadn’t felt well all day, so I really wasn’t up to her company.

I was in the process of telling her I was busy, I had the overwhelming urge to puke my brains out.

When I resurfaced ten minutes later, Victoria was waiting on the couch. Her nervous smile matched mine when I saw her face that she figured out what I suspected by the past couple of weeks: I was pregnant.

We’ve only been cordial to each other at best, so this was not a comfortable conversation to not have.

Victoria soon decided to leave, but not before I told her to not mention what she saw. Despite her assurances, I didn’t believe her sincerity.

After a brief staring contest, Victoria smirked before leaving. Now I know why my mother can’t stand that woman.

And what’s worse, Sarai had overheard our conversation. I had to admit that I was expecting again. I really hated that Jeff was not the first person to find this out, and knowing Victoria, I will have to tell Jeff as soon as possible before the whole hood found out.

• It was quite a surprise for me to discover Britney pregnant when I loaded their game. I hadn’t played their household since their last rotation and the last time I accessed this lot was to change their formal wear for Arturo and Donna’s wedding. I guess that their immaculate conception was when all the adult couples took turns woo-hooing in the photo booth at the church. Yeah, gross. But since that was over six months ago, let’s just say it was a recent conception. Baby Underwood is due Fall 3003.
• If anyone can remember from Britney’s first update, Donna didn’t care too much about Victoria, even though Britney thought otherwise. Since their parents got married, Victoria keeps having a negative talk interactions with Britney. It seems Victoria rubs too many people the wrong way.
• I only just realized how close Sarai was to teen; she’ll age up for summer birthdays. So I gave her a more mature look.
• The Underwood’s nanny is one of those who does nothing. She’ll feed Courtney and change her, but that’s it.  She leaves Courtney by herself, while she watches TV.

After months of separation and the eventual divorce, I’ve finally gotten my life into a routine. I get up early to get myself dressed, before get the girls ready for the day.

After finally pulling Nicky and Al from bed, I make breakfast while they get ready. When I was married and was a stay-at-home mother, I used to actually cook breakfast, but these days I can only make cold cereal in the morning.

But I do enjoy those breakfasts; it’s usually uninterrupted time between myself and my two oldest girls.

For a long time I was worried about them adjusting to their father and I being divorced, but they seem to be adapting well enough. Except when complaining of not having their own rooms any more.

I was very fortunate to obtain a job within the school district, as I work school hours and can be home by the time the girls get home from school.

Once we all arrive home, I get started on dinner. While the girls do their homework, I take the time to pay bills and squeeze in time to submit my school assignments. It was very hard to take online classes to finish up my degree, all while working and being a single parent, but I did it.

I do try to balance my busy schedule with a social life. I’ve become friendly with my colleague Nigel and his fiancee Allison, who is constantly trying to fix me up. I don’t know if I’m ready to start dating again so soon after my divorce.

She explained that she didn’t expect me to get married, but to try to get some free-time with other adults. After she told me about a lawyer friend of hers and offering to babysit, I finally agreed.

Two weeks later, I was having dinner with Corey Tyler at the newly-opened Avocado Lounge in the Laurel City Center, which was points in his favor. I’ve been wanting to go there ever since it opened.

While waiting on our meal, we ended up having a nice conversation, where I learned he was a law professor at University of Rockport, after semi-retiring from practicing law. I fully expected my blind date to be a bum, so I was very pleased at Allison’s choice.

As the night progressed, I found myself liking him more and more. The attraction was certainly there.

We concluded our date at Founders’ Park, which was our neutral meeting place. I have to admit that I enjoyed myself. I just hope my new circumstance doesn’t come crashing down on me like it did with Blake.

• So Deidre is finally a free woman, as her divorce to Blake was official three months prior. Unfortunately, Blake still hasn’t rolled any wants to talk or otherwise interact with his kids (only to his sister Quinn). Dee and the kids seem to not mind, as they haven’t rolled any wants either.
• Sorry, no shots of Lauren. It wasn’t until I wrote this that I realized that I didn’t have any. She’s a toddler, so she’s not doing too much anyway. She does turn five in 3004, however.
• Allison Meyer is a new friend of Dee’s, whom she met through Nigel, who is Dee’s fellow teacher at the high school. They seemed to hit it off really well. Every time they meet or talk on the phone, they’re always talking about romance-related stuff, so I figure she’s trying to get Dee back into the game. Corey Tyler was a walk-by, who happened to know Allison, so I set them up. Corey and Dee are two-bolters so it’s progressing okay. I don’t see Dee rushing into a new relationship so quickly after the divorce, unlike someone we know.

This is so embarrassing! My parents had the bright idea of meeting my boyfriend, Lloyd. 

They seemed to feel that Lloyd was too old for me. So what he’s almost 16. I should have kept my big mouth shut, when I mentioned that Lloyd was studying for his license.

So here I was, in the middle of small talk with my boyfriend and my parents. This is so not how I wanted to spend my evening with Lloyd. But he wasn’t fazed, saying that meeting the parents is not that big of a deal.

Of course, they continued to ask more embarrassing questions. Do you play sports? Do you have a job? Why they felt that was any of their business I’ll never know.

Mom took it a step further by suggesting which job Lloyd should get, after Lloyd admitted he did in fact plan to get an after-school job.

Then Dad further lectured on the benefits of having a job. Whatever, we’re only teenagers.

Then Dad blindsided me with interrogating Lloyd on why he would date a younger girl. Hello, I’m right here!

Lloyd explained to my parents on how he thought I was funny, cute and loved sports as much as he did, and was more mature than other girls his age.

I couldn’t take any more embarrassment so I excused myself from the table, under the guise of cleaning up the kitchen.

Mom left to check on Adriana and Jordan, so Lloyd was left with Dad. I don’t know what was said between them, but I hoped it wasn’t anything too bad.

Jordan found me still in the kitchen once he was done with Dad.

To my surprise, he was grinning. He told me that I had nothing to worry about.

Apparently, my parents like them and agreed to let me still date him, as long as I made curfew and I didn’t get into trouble.

But my elation didn’t last very long. A week later, my Dad came home while I was chatting on the computer with Lloyd.

He made me sign off abruptly. I didn’t know what was up, but I soon found out.

Apparently, Principal Greer called, and told them that I wasn’t doing too well in school.

So what I wasn’t making straight-A’s. It wasn’t like I was flunking.

But Mom and Dad didn’t share my sentiment.

Since they felt that my relationship with Lloyd was too much of a distraction, they told me that I couldn’t see Lloyd anymore. Shocked, I looked at Mom, expecting her to tell Dad that he was overreacting. But she agreed. In fact, it was her idea!

Needless to say, I was grounded until further notice. I couldn’t date Lloyd or hang out with my friends, until my grades were up.

I figured that I would just see Lloyd at school, until Dad informed me that he already talked to Lloyd. Apparently, his grades never faltered and my dad told him that I couldn’t hang out with him anymore until I’m not on punishment anymore.

After another ten minutes of lecturing, I was sent to my room, where I found that my cell phone, PSP, iPod and stereo were already confiscated. This was the worst day of my life!

My parents are so unfair! So what my grades were lacking. I’m only 12; it’s not that big of a deal.

• Like I mentioned in the last high school update, I wanted to address how Liam and Cora handled Marianne dating an older boy. Cora was a bit of a wild child when she was a teen, so I figured she wouldn’t have a problem with it, albeit that he was a good boy. Of course, Liam as a dad wouldn’t like it, so I had Lloyd come over for dinner. If he got along with Cora and Liam, then he could date their daughter. They all hit it off, but I permitted the relationship, which brings me to…
• Marianne’s schoolwork. In my game, I find that students typically roll wants to do homework, usually the next day when they wake up in the morning (nothing like waiting until the last minute to do your homework, eh?). Only Knowledge teens roll when they get home. Marianne was no different. But ever since she aged to teen, she hasn’t rolled to do homework at all. Not once. I have a rule that students do their homework when they roll wants for doing homework or roll wants to earn an A+ or overachiever. MA hasn’t rolled any of those. Only wants to invite friends over, call them on the phone, or having fun (listening to the iPod, playing with the PSP, etc). No wants to attend college, no nothing. I have the Harder Grades hack, and although she has the skills, her grades are steadily going down. She’s down to a C- in-game.
• I’m wondering that I may have to step in and make her do the homework. But we’ll see. This is so not how I envisioned MA to be; she’s supposed to be the smart jock, on her way to college and athletic glory days. We’ll see how she turns out.
